Dialogue Build
speakingaccuracyfluencypracticewhole-classnone prep15-20 min
Class co-constructs a dialogue on the board, then performs it from memory as words are erased.
Procedure
- Build a dialogue on the board line by line with the class using picture prompts.
- Students practise in pairs, reading from the board.
- Erase a few words; students practise again, filling gaps from memory.
- Continue erasing until the board is empty.
- Pairs perform the full dialogue from memory.
Tips
- Erase function words first (articles, prepositions) — content words serve as memory anchors longer.
